Starch Mold

The Starch Mould Inspection (SMI) is able to improve efficiency and quality of the production within the confectionery. It will reduce waste and manpower by removing dirty trays from the machine.
It can be used and is already installed on all starchmoulding lines like NID, W&D, Makat and Fast Track, Jumbo and standard machines.

Between the 0,2 and 1% of trays should not be deposited and cause a loss of efficiency and quality because of the following failures:

  • Poorly filled trays
  • Poorly quality imprints
  • A missing model in the mould board
  • Residual product sticking in the new filled and printed tray

Advantages:

  • Directly reduce of waste
  • No more dirty trays after all trays have been inspected
  • Problems are being detected directly after the printer table
  • Automatically learning functionality of multiple images
  • Production automatically stops when mold is being identified
  • Quick ROI (financial and operational from 3 months up to maximum 1 year).
