Induction Heating
คือ กระบวนการใช้ความร้อนเหนี่ยวนำโดยที่ชิ้นงานที่มีคุณสมบัตินำไฟฟ้าได้ถูกวางไว้ในขดลวดทองแดงที่มีการผ่านไฟฟ้ากระแสสลับ ซึ่งทำให้เกิดสนามแม่เหล็กขึ้นภายในขดลวด โดยสนามแม่เหล็กที่เกิดขึ้นนี้ทำให้เกิดกระแสไฟฟ้าไหลภายในชิ้นงานด้วย และเนื่องจากชิ้นงานมีความต้านทานไฟฟ้าโดยธรรมชาติ ดังนั้น การไหลของกระแสไฟฟ้าก็จะทำให้เกิดความร้อนขึ้นภายในชิ้นงาน
หลักการทำความร้อนเหนี่ยวนำนี้เปรียบเทียบได้กับหม้อแปลงไฟฟ้าคือขดลวดทองแดงก็คือขดลวดปฐมภูมิ และชิ้นงานก็คือขดลวดทุติยภูมิ
What is Induction Heating??
Induction heating is the process where an electrically conductive workpiece is placed in a copper coil through which an alternating current flows. The magnetic field created by this alternating current causes current to flow within the workpiece. Since the workpiece has an inherent electrical resistance to the current flow, heat is generated. The induction heating principle is traced back to that of the transformer effect. The primary winding is the coil and the secondary winding is the workpiece.
